How to Assign Exercises from a 3D Lecture to Students

Assigning an exercise in the Assignments section of a module

Teachers can assign the quiz questions of a 3D lecture to the Assignments section of a learning module on the Cohota LMS by following these steps:

Create a learning module if the course does not have one yet.

Click the plus button in the module to open the window for adding an item to the module. Select Assignment, choose "[New assignment]", enter the assignment name and click "Add item".

Click the Assignment you just created and edit its content.

On the edit page, change the points and select "External tool" under "Assignment type". Click the "Search" button and select the NoraClass 3D lecture library in the window that opens.

In the window that opens, select the 3D lecture that contains the questions you want to assign to students.

The NoraClass assignment window has a navigation bar with three options: "Collections", "Lectures" and "My lectures".

• Selecting "Collections" shows the list of all collections containing sample 3D lectures prepared by the NoraClass team.
• When you click the collection you want, you can see the full list of 3D lectures it contains.

• Selecting "Lectures" shows the list of all sample 3D lectures prepared by the NoraClass team.

• Selecting "My lectures" shows the list of 3D lectures that teachers have created themselves or copied from customised sample lectures.

Enter keywords in the search bar to find a 3D lecture by name (for example: "Experiment", "Friction", "Cell", etc.).

When you select a 3D lecture from the list, the panel on the right shows its full details: lecture name, subject, class, description, author, related collection, creation date, edit date and its identifier under Regulation 791/QĐ-SGDĐT.

To assign the questions in the 3D lecture as an Assignment, click the "Assign" button. You can also click "View questions" and "Preview lecture" to see the questions and experience the lecture content before assigning.

Click "Select" to choose the assignment you have assigned. Then click "Save" to save the Assignment content you have just added.

You can click "Save and publish" to save the assignment you have just created and let students access and complete it.

After the assignment is set, students can open the Assignment you have created and complete it. Scores are stored and processed automatically on the Cohota LMS.

For students to access and complete the assignment, you need to publish both the assignment and the learning module that contains it in the course.
